Indio, CA,  PRNewswire/ -- Bradley S. Ramos, Indio Chief of Police, and Rod Pacheco, Riverside County District Attorney, announce the creation of the GUARDING OUR GREATEST GENERATION program.

 

The program will host a PROTECT YOUR HEALTH & WEALTH seminar on Wednesday, February 27th from 8:00am - 1:00pm at the Indio Performing Arts Center.

 

The event is focused on the 55 and over community and will feature topics on estate planning, identity theft/in home care, and financial crime prevention. A health and resource fair will be featured on site with vital information for seniors.

 

Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be served sponsored by Dr. Merkin and Desert Oasis Healthcare. Transportation is available and door prizes will be given away to the first 250 attendees.

 

 

Chief Ramos stressed the importance of working together to keep the seniors of Indio safe.

 

"All people and age groups are important, but it is all of our responsibility to ensure our seniors are educated and protected," Ramos stated.

 

District Attorney Rod Pacheco commented, "Criminals who victimize our community's senior citizens will be aggressively pursued and held accountable for their actions. Preying on those who may seem like easy targets will not be tolerated in our community."
