The Marines' Memorial Association was formed in 1946 by CMC General Vandegrift as "...a tribute to those who have gone before; and a service to those who carry on." Membership in the Marines' Memorial Association is tax-deductible, and includes the following benefits:

Mission: The Marines' Memorial Association exists to provide a living memorial honoring all Marines.

Vision: The Marines' Memorial Association will be respected as an exemplary and unique living memorial distinguished by reverence for the sacrifice and achievement of past Marines, while making a positive impact on the lives of those Marines who serve today and into the future.

Principles: The Marines' Memorial Association will:

  • Preserve and rededicate ourselves to the purpose for which the Association was originally formed
