Stan Kannadded
to Fox Theater Wall of Fame
As the Fox Theater celebrates the 25th
Anniversary of its opening, a valued addition
has been made to the backstage Wall of
Fame...St. Louis legendary Stan Kann, organist,
entertainer and vacuum cleaner collector
extraordinaire.
It's a Fox
Theater tradition in which performers from
various productions that have appeared at the
Fox sign the wall. For years, Mary
Strauss, who with her husband, the late Leon
Strauss, provided the vision to restore the
magnificent theater, has wanted Stan to be
included as a part of the wall.
And, why not?
Not only is Stan nationally famous for his
skills as one of the nation's top organists, and
has gained fame for his comic skills on soe of
the top TV shows, he is also a regular at the
Fox, performing for the weekly tours that visit
The Fabulous Fox.
Finally, Mary
prevailed. And, now, not only is the rest
history, but Stan Kann's likeness is a permanent
part of The Fabulous Fox history.
