Baby Boomer Retirement Income Matching Service goes live

February 8, 2012--A new online matching service aimed to match baby boomers and retirees with annuity and retirement income specialists goes live.

Annuity123, designed by HLM Consumer Services, launched an interactive and educational website on everything about retirement income and annuities.

The goal of Annuity123 is not only to provide free retirement education for consumers, but to also provide them a site to locate the best retirement income and annuity specialists in the country.

The Annuity123 website has a feature called Annuity Harmony, created to enable the consumer to browse through available retirement experts in their area to see if they are compatible, before ever having to meet with them face to face.

Over 30 years ago Americans were forced by their employers to forego attractive and successful defined benefit pension plans for contribution 401k plans.

At the time, the oldest baby boomers were new to the work force, low on savings, and had no way of knowing what lay ahead for them. Today’s baby boomers and soon to be retirees are riddled with fear and anxiety about outliving their savings and income.

A married couple aged 65 today has a 50% chance that one of them live to be 92, and a 25% chance that one will live to be 95. For younger couples, the percentages are even higher.

However, only a small portion of these soon to be retirees are prepared for this. The next decade will reveal just how real this problem is, and how important it is to alleviate the upcoming income shortfalls.

By first educating consumers, and then matching them up with experts in their area for further advice, Annuity123 hopes to make a big impact in the retirement field. The Annuity123 designers found that there was no great system in place to make sure consumers were dealing with legitimate, ethical, and knowledgeable experts.

About Annuity123

Annuity123 was created to educate consumers across the country about methods to contractually guarantee lifetime income.

The fear of outliving your money doesn’t have to be a burden.

Moreover, the purpose is not only to educate consumers about the importance of lifetime income and creating their own pension annuity, but to provide access to the best retirement income and annuity specialists in the country.

By first educating consumers, and then matching them up with experts in their area for further advice, Annuity123 hopes to make a big impact in the retirement field.

As consumers ourselves, we found there was no great system in place to make sure we were dealing with legitimate, ethical, and knowledgeable experts.

Our website was created in order to enable the consumer to browse through available advisors in their area to see if they are compatible, before ever having to meet with them face to face.
