to launch web radiobroadcast on own in-house
service; Features to include in-depth interviews
with seniors’ advocacy groups, experts on other
subjects of interest to seniors, boomers
St.
Louis, MO (December 22, 2006)—America’s Seniors and
Boomers will start the New Year off by being able to
access an expanded effort by the country’s leading
informational web site for seniors when
www.TodaysSeniorsNetwork.com
launches its new on-site web audio broadcasts as a
part of its newly formed
TSN Radio On the Web programming.
Daniel Hines, founder and publisher of the popular
TodaysSeniorsNetwork.com,
says the launch fulfills a long-standing vision of a
variety of informational sources for America’s
Seniors and Boomers that he had when he started the
site eight years ago.
“Now, the increased capabilities of the world wide
web make it possible for us to bring our audience
increased information that will include one-on-one
interviews with authorities and experts on a number
of issues affecting our aging population,” Hines
says.
“This will not be limited to ‘quickie’ promotional
items generated by public relations agencies, but
will be the in-depth discussions and news on a broad
number of fronts.”
Hines says the guest list for interviews will
include elected officials, seniors who are ‘making a
difference’, authorities on the broad range of
subjects already covered in print on
TodaysSeniorsNetwork.com such as aging, caregiving,
state-by-state reports from advocacy groups,
entertainment , travel, veterans’ news, finances,
retirement, safety and security, prescription drugs,
legislation affecting Seniors and Boomers, access to
safe and affordable prescriptions from outside the
U.S., environments for success aging, preventing
privatization of Social Security, the impact of
technology on aging, Medicare, and seniors’ rights.
“We hope to utilize our vast network of contacts to
invite a broad range of guests,” he explains.
He says the interviews will be embedded in a special
section of TodaysSeniorsNetwork.com
and will be available on “a 24-7 basis” for visitors
to the site. He is also planning a Podcast
capability.
Hines encourages members of groups
or others with issues that affect or would be of
interest to the Seniors’ and Boomers’ communities to
contact him with their ideas for a feature and
interview. They may do this by e-mailing him
